The Coronavirus is scary. Scenes from china are apocalyptic and my heart goes out to all infected people and their families. While I wish this tragedy to no-one, we also have to look at the situation in a rational and scientific way.
The planet is overpopulated, and not by a harmless species but by an invasive one who causes nothing but chaos and destruction.
When we look at the history of the world, we see that whenever the world has reached a peak… A threshold.. nature naturally finds a way to bring back harmony and regulate the situation. Disease outbreaks and natural calamities have been doing just that since the beginning of time. History and all sacred books confirm this somehow.
Man has used up all natural resources, used and abuse other species to please our ego and greed, genetically modified plants and animals causing dangerous situations , caused massive extinction, replaced green with grey, polluted the air and the waters, depleted the oceans and deforested the planet’s lungs.
Man also harm man! Fellow brothers and sisters have been evicted from their homes and their basic human rights, respect and dignity snatched away.
The planet is in bad shape and we are responsible for that but she will be okay.
Always has. Always will.
She dealt with species far bigger and stronger than us and lead them to their deaths.
Then what about us? Weak egocentric humans?
This is exactly what is happening right now.
Nature is taking over and we better watch out.. it’s not gonna be pretty! 🌍🌎🌏
Scientists have confirmed that the source of the outbreak is the wildlife and seafood market in Wuhan, China. In this place animals, either bred in captivity or captured from the wild are sold for consumption.
This is a place of utter pain, cruety, violence and stolen freedom. We have marketted death and made it into a lucrative business!
What good could have come out of it?
The Coronavirus is a zoonose, that is it is transmitted from animals to humans and vice versa.
Can you make the connection yet?
Maybe we are just getting what we really deserve… But it is never too late to face the truth, learn from our mistakes and make a change. For us, for them and for the planet.
